Our Work

The Primate Conservation and Welfare Society works to save the world's primates from extinction and to end their neglect and abuse in captivity. We are planning a brand new primate sanctuary here in Washington State, and are actively involved in a number of primate conservation and welfare projects. Please investigate the links to the left for more information.

"The best solution to the gross mismanagement of wildlife would be a complete restructuring of the system of wildlife management, one that would accentuate the concept that animals are not "renewable resources" for man to use or abuse, but sentient beings with the right to live unmolested in natural surroundings."

Ron Baker in The American Hunting Myth
